The first stage of peripheral arterial disease – PAD, (Intermittent Claudication) is symptom-free. A high-definition angiography of the pelvis and legs – that is to say a precise image of the arteries in pelvis and legs – can provide information about the first indications of this insidious disease. If diagnosed early enough, the course of this disorder can be stopped completely with the appropriate treatment.make an appointment
DiVoCare has excellent equipment at its disposal, in fact the best that is available for vascular diagnostics at the moment. Our 3.0T MRI unit is state-of-the-art equipment.
The MRI unit, which is radiation-free, shows how the blood from the vessels in the pelvis, thigh and calves branches out into the peripheral areas. The time taken for this to happen provides detailed information about the current state of the blood vessels.
Our 3-Tesla MRI unit provides images of the vascular system with millimeter precision – from the major arteries to the peripheral areas. Abnormal vascular changes can be clearly located. In special cases a 3D CT (64-row technology) can be used.
